Since he can remember, our founder and visionary, Jeff Skalberg has been moved by music.

As a young kid, he begged his parents to buy him a guitar. With his new instrument in hand, he spent countless hours teaching himself how to play. And as the years passed, his obsession with music only grew. He joined band after band, playing with his best friends in unforgettable cities and venues.

During this time, Jeff’s eyes were opened to the many struggles that people across the country were experiencing. He’d always had an underlying passion to help those in need, and ultimately, he made the difficult decision to leave the music industry and pursue a career in corporate philanthropy.

Throughout the next six years, he threw himself whole-heartedly into his work at local nonprofits, but he always retained his love for music. In 2016, he volunteered to put on a benefit show for a local nonprofit, and that’s when he had a life-changing realization – his passions could be combined to benefit the community. He founded NoteWorthy in 2017, and his team has been working to change the world one concert at a time ever since.

“While creating NoteWorthy,

I wanted artists to feel something more than they’ve ever felt before in a show – real and measurable impact.

When bands partner with NoteWorthy, their music isn’t just touching the lives of the people in the crowd; it also touches the lives of people in the community. To me, that is the ultimate concert experience and that is what NoteWorthy has set out to achieve.”
